Dear Friends and Supporters,
With your support, Sera Jey was able to purchase a center in El Cerrito, California in 2017. The current center is a small house in a residential neighborhood. Even though we have been able to provide teachings and a gathering place for special events for our dharma friends, we had a few challenges with the center and its location. The center is extremely small for our growing membership.
Since this is a residential neighborhood, we also had challenges with the parking and the noise level. As much as we like the current location, we have realized that we need to look for a bigger center in a different location in the San Francisco Bay Area.
We have been looking for another center for quite sometime and we are happy to let you know that we have found a perfect place in the right location. We are now in the process of purchasing this building and we need your help to come up with the funds. Donations of any amount or interest free loans are needed.
The sale of our current center will provide most of the funds but we still need your help to provide the rest.
You may donate through Sera Jey Foundation Facebook or send checks to sera Jey Foundation at our current address 1525 Elm Street, El Cerrito, California 94530 until the end of November 2019.
We are once again asking for your help to relocate to a bigger center and continue to provide the Buddha’s teachings and promote the wisdom of compassion for all sentient beings.
